anyone ever been to that no-name, isolated, Southern European country that seems to be left out of EU interests? for why no one pays attention to the land of the double headed bird thing.

Being ruled for almost 4 decades by Hoxha nobody should be supprised about why it’s so poor. Heard from my professor It was the most depressing place in the world he’s been to. There’s basically NO state. You’re right in stating the EU has really no interests in it. They will more likely allow Morocco or Tunesia to become a memberstate than Albania.
Well Albanian is in a pretty poor state at the moment and its mainly bc of Hexhas ruling. Sometimes however, i think the reason why he was so isolated from the rest of the world was bc the rest of the world ****** him over so many times.So let me hit u with the history stick for a bit.Obviously ur “all mighty professor” hasnt. Albania is not even half the the size the the original Albania should be. Most parts of Albania such as Kosova, Malesia (montenegro), kosova lindore (preshevo valley), Cameria, (Greece) and the parts in macedonia were all anexed in both WW1 and again in WW2. This was against the will of the Albanians and all these parts were populated with albanian ,until ethnic cleansings took place such as in Kosovo (remember Kosovo?). So before u go making statements, maybe u should read more into it.
Apart from that, Albanian is not the kind of adjective you would like to have in your title. Most people in Europe will relate Albania with maffia, smugglers (including smuggling of people) etc. You could probably buy Albania and use it to make H-bombs and nobody will notice. Sorry for sarcasm, don’t want to insult the country nor the people, but It’s sadly true.
Yeah most of Europe does relate to Albania with mafia and smugglers. And im proud of that. Not bc i like being thought of as a mafia or a smuggles but bc its this Europe that put us in this situation that were in today. So if they thought that we would go to the western Europe to do the dirty labour jobs for english and french after what they did to us, well im glad they got a suprise. :dev2:
