There seems to be very little growth into these markets from the UK. Have they reached saturation point and if not where could new routes be opened from? If these markets are at saturation are the present amount of services sustainable?

Listen Bhoy I dont have to give you a reason why I woulfnt fly Ryanair for my summer holidays. Put simply I just wouldnnt. Ryanair are good for business meetings and short breaks because their fares are low. Most business trips can be re-organised and missing a short break isnt as bad as missing a 2 week holiday you have had planned for 2 months.

easyjet and My Travel do Belfast to Malaga and both seem to do well on it AFAIK. We also have easyjet to Alicante. Alot of UK travellers are now going to Malaga then future down the coast to Fungerola (spelling isnt right) as new houses are popping up there that they are buying. Some of the UVF even decided houses would be nice there.

so if you were on a tight schedule for a business trip, it’d be ok if you got told, tough sh1t, you’ve missed your connection, now stay here in the middle of nowhere ad infinitum?

Yes I never tire of how good they are for short breaks and business trips. Ryanairs lower fares have certainly made those 2 much more possible in previous years but Id rather go with a national airline for my holidays. Its not for service because I fly Iberia but secuirity incase somthing goes wrong like it did last year. Missed connection. Ryanair attitude is tough luck were as Iberia attitude was well put you onto the next flight and heres some vouchers for lunch.

although I think they are great for short breaks and business trips I wouldnt fly with Ryanair for my main summer holiday.
Why ever not? they get you from A to B, and you certainly never tire of going on about how good they are…

Well pointed out MINIDOH I mentioned Murica as a destination that Ryanair flies to . It has great potential. It located closer to Torrivieja than Alicante is but I book flight to ALC anyway as although I think they are great for short breaks and business trips I wouldnt fly with Ryanair for my main summer holiday.

Expect Murcia to become far more used too with the new airport.

Ye everywhere from the UK has service to ALC and AGP even LHR which isnt much of a south of Spain Costa Del Sol/Brava airport. Ireland is the same with all 3 major airports having direct links. Even NOC has ALC flights.
In most cases there is 2 or 3 airlines operating from each airport to these cities.
This is why you see Ryanair going to MJV (Murcia) and I would bet LEI and SVQ will see considerable growth in the next few years.
