'Alloy' Mosquito

Browsing on the BBC Peoples War website there are memories of a man who worked in the experimental department of Vickers. The main story is about the Upkeep mine for the Dams raid but in passing he remarks that they built a all ‘alloy’ Mosquito?

From a little 5″ x 5″ book by Bill Gunston called “Fighters Volume 2”. It’s amazing how often I refer to that book that looks so out of place on the shelf 🙂

I guess is he was referring to the Vickers Type 432 High Altitude Fighter – there are some pictures of a model of one here:
