Hi all
thought to share a few impressions of the IBT 04 Airshow at Berne (Switzerland) held on 26th/27th June 2004 for the 75th anniversary of the airport.
It was a good show of both modern and vintage airplanes; the weather deterioriated through Sunday (when I was there) and in the afternoon, we have the same situation re. sunlight as in Duxford. Highlights were the Super Constellation (also scheduled for Leg Ends this year) and the awesome display of the Swiss Jet Team with a Dh-112 Venom, a Hunter F.58 and a Hunter T.68.
My personal highlight was the F+W D-3801 Morane – the only flyable example.
Enjoy !

Brilliant stuff, the Morane especially. Is it similar to the restorable parts that recently tuned up somewhere in the UK?

Absolutely, Stewart1a – that Morane is easilly worth two Mustangs! Lovely. Any more Morane pics?

Excellent photos. What a lovely setting for a show. Any shots of the Venom?
