Could the Herakles radar provided the same AAW capability as the EMPARS?

If so and the Marine National had chosen to go that route what other systems might have been changed out? From some online research, it looks like the whole “crown” structure above the foremast is largely Leonardo’s (Italian) systems, what would be the French equivalent.

Also was there any MGT of European or French origin that could have been incorporated versus the LM2500?
