Alternative to photobucket for posting photos?

Now photobucket want to charge me $399 a year for the privilege of hosting my photos, can anyone suggest a better way of posting images on the forum please?

Imgur seems to be an alternative to PB favoured by many since PB committed corporate hari-kiri

Plus clicking on the images I posted Elliott will take you to the site so you can view it at whatever size you wish.

Thanks guys – that’s very helpful.

Simon – I shut down the geocities website when geocities went bust/or were sold on etc. This was many years ago now.

3rd’d, 4th’d & 5th’d ~ Flickr every time.

Had mine (accounts), since 2006 & 2011 respectively.

Did go thru a dismal patch when that female Yahoo C.E.O took charge, but rectified now.

I praise them, YET, I dread they should ever take a similar path to ‘PhotoWreckit’, regarding greed.

I have also reluctantly moved to Flickr, although I can say that I really like it.
If you are not looking to store images (although I think you can ?) “Postimage” is very simple to use, and good for just posting the odd picture.

Even Moggy uses it, so it can’t be that difficult to master :stupid:

You also get 1TB storage for free (or at least I do) which is far better than PB ever offered.

Totally agree 110%, Flickr, it allows you to choose the size of the images you post to and is far better and simpler to use when you get the hang of it.

As an example Elliott

I wont go any bigger because it will upset the site, but there are 12 different sizes in total I could select, some in between those posted above.
