Alvis Leonides engine bracket parts and instruments needed.

Gentlemen, my name is Orla Kragh Jensen and I am working on a vintage fighter plane project of mixed construction, steel frame fuselage covered with aluminum plates and canvas and a wooden main wing and fixed undercarriage.

For the project I have acquired an Alvis Leonides (Ex. Pembroke) engine and a Dowty Rotol propeller. The engine is complete with engine bracket, carburetor, oil cooler etc. The Dowty Rotol propeller is complete too, except for the “Hub Retaining Nut”, or in other words, the nut that holds the propeller locked to the engine propeller shaft.

I am looking for parts for the project, like the “Hub Retaining Nut” and spare parts for the engine bracket.

Preferably, I would be very interested in acquiring a full set of instruments for the Alvis Leonides engine, a single set of an engine throttle box and the airscrew pitch control system and actuator.

Some very important items I would be very interested in acquiring is the four brackets, bolts and nuts mounted on the Percival Provost or Pembroke fuselage for which the engine bracket is attached. Should anyone have a complete spare engine bracket laying around I would very much appreciate information and contact data.

If you should know of persons or organizations who might have these things as spares for sale, I would be very interested in getting the contact data.

I thank you in advance.

Regards
Orla Kragh Jensen

Hi Anon.
Yes, the mounting frame.
I do have one, at the moment fitted to the engine but I would like an extra for the fitting and building of the attachment to the fuselage steel frame.
A manual starter handle would be interesting too.

Orla.

Hello, Orla. Is it the engine mounting frame that you require?
