Hi all
Recovered a data plate of some sort today at a dig and I can see it says CUPOLA SERIAL NO 2605 for TURRET REF 50C 1901
Also says Mark 11A
There is more writing but its hidden by gunge !
Anyone able to ID what type of Turret / Cupola this would be and what it was used on (over in Australia 🙂 )
Cheers

Thats great, a good start, now all I have to do is try and figure out which aircraft it was from !
I did find under a lot of gunk that it is a type C Cupola but there is no date in the date section 🙁
Given my inexperience with these things I can only narrow it down to a few aircraft being maybe Anson or Hudson, but will keep hunting it down. Many thanks for your help !

Not that it helps much, but 50C is Boulton & Paul (Spares for Turrets)

Stores Ref. 50C relates to Boulton and Paul turrets.
