AMARC overflights

Having got back from Arizona, and got back on the Forum, (and believe me the transatlantic flight was easier!), the following may be of interest.

Overflights of AMARC are still possible. We used Double Eagle from Tucson who were very helpful. Early on a Sunday morning, your climb-out from Tucson will take you directly over the centre of AMARC. But only once, so make the best of it. We managed to photgraph all areas succesfully although some were at a long range.

I know it’s not as good as you would have got in the past, but it’s certainly better than nothing. And given the current situation, I’m quiet amazed we got what we did. All I need now is the current inventory and I’ll be happy! Sadly, of course, it’s no longer availible.

Just for the record, we noted a total of 12 B1Bs among the masses.
