I was very pleased with this event despite not being described as an air show.
Most of the USAF aircraft appearances consisted of flypasts but also a demonstration assault landing by a MC-130H. Another MC-130H and a HH-60 helicopter arrived for the static.
Considering the pilots are not display authorised, I though that the flybys were of a much better quality than what you would see normally see at a Duxford show. The F15s were quite tight in formation and on a couple of times steadily turned in front of the crowd line.
Completing the day were full displays by private aircraft, an F86 Sabre and Sally B Flying Fortress. Spitfire MH434 should have taken part but went tech and was replaced by Mustang Ferocious Frankie. Unfortunately, Mustang Miss Velma went tech as well so we were down one aircraft. The USAF statics then departed.
Considering all the aircraft the USAF have sent to the Royal International Air Tattoo over the years, the perfect Heritage F15 demo/display at Flying Legends this year, and the odd appearance at a seaside show, I think they should be congratulated not just for this event but for all events they have supported over the years.
There is just one thing missing. ……… Milldenhall.
Here are my pics

And some other movements on the day.

Thank you for the photos.
I thought it was a good show too, rare to see the HH-53, HH-60, MC-130P and MC-130H acutally flying.
Some of the ground displays were interesting too – police dogs, bomb and missile display. Not forgetting the chance to buy those patches.
Milldenhall Airshow started from something not much bigger.
