american and british carrier excersises in the 1970s

Was this not the operation that a few USN or USMC Phantoms got “zapped” with “Colonial Navy” Tags and roundels? Have seen some pics… anybody have them?

im looking for information about us and uk carrier excersises int he 1970s mainly involveing the ark royal. did our aircraft cross deck at all who did better pics and videos would be helpful
