Noted in the Deaths column of yesterday’s Telegraph is Arthur Cecil ‘Alan’ Dunlop who took part in the raid with No 487 (RNZAF) Sqn.

I was flicking channels and came across that programme too WL747.
The content was very good I thought and will look out for this again to watch the whole series.
I even spied the young Denis too!.
Sorry to hear the sad passing of Arthur Cecil ‘Alan’ Dunlop, RIP.

Incidently this raid was detailed in ‘Battlefield Mysteries’ which was shown on Discovery History yesterday. Was not a bad programme, and the presenter had a walk around Hunsdon airfield.
So there still is aviation on our TV that is British orientated, and not about Spitfires! :diablo:
