Hi All,
Had a trip to Lithuania with the band at the weekend flying MAN to AMS with KLM and on to Vilnius with FlyLAL. A four hour connection going out and a six hour connection coming back made me a rather happy chap!
All taken with either a Canon 30D + Sigma 50-500 DG or a 350D + Sigma 10-20.
About to turn onto 23R aboard PH-KZP…

Well it’s funny you should say that! This photo was taken on the way back but it’s a reasonably accurate portrayal of what went on for the time we were there…

Great selection Paul, the wing view’s are my favourite.
The AMS shots are great too, alot better than what I was able to produce when I was there – I must have been doing something else, ummm consuming a cider or two one thinks 🙂

That duty free shop at Vilnius is doing a roaring trade eh ? Ha.
Wannabe…. it’s actually a Fokker 70, so the wing is even closer to the engine. I remember similar views when flying in the little Finnair DC9-14s and 15s in the early 80s.

Interesting bunch of shots mate, I love it on the F100 when you can get the wingview + engine in together. And the airport pub’s sweet…can you see Lance stumbling around?!

The terminal at Vilnius is very clean and modern. Not what I expected in all honesty!
