AMS on the 10th

Hello everyone,i had a great day in amsterdam yestersday, the weather was great lots of sunshine and plenty of interesting movements, but AMS being so big i didn’t manage to quite catch eveything,if anyone could help me out that would be very much appreciated,so here ye we go:

8.30 local time,on the martinair cargo ramp was a gemini MD-11F,an Atlas Air 747F,and a martinair MD-11,on the opposite cargo ramp were two Kallita 747F’s,couldn’t make any regs out,

About lunch time the emirates sky cargo 747F arrived, but too far again,
Just after this martinair cargo 747 was pushed back out of the hanger were the Bluesky 747 was,

2000,all white EL AL 747F departed…that’s all i can think of at the moment, thanks again for any help!

Well, then you are left with PH-MCE and PH-MCF, both got windows. But you mentioned you saw PH-MPQ. Since MPQ is to replace MCE you probably saw MCE at Schiphol Oost, being prepared for sale. Did not realise MPQ had already been delivered, thought that only MPP was delivered.

No i don’t it wasn’t a SUD 747,defintely a 742 of some description,i think it had windows so that rules out on the MP 742’s?

In that case it must have been PH-BUH, to my knowledge it is the only one with only partial livery. But this one does have a stretched upper deck. Would that match the plane you saw?

Thanks a million for that, the martinair 747 was a 200 i’d say,it was in a bad way though in just the basic scheme no titles,it was pushed out of the hanger that’s up from the fokker hanger,i got the martinair 747BCF as MPQ,thanks again for those.

Martinair Cargo ramp
Gemini MD-11F … N702GC
Atlas Air 747F … N528MC
Martinair MD-11 … PH-MCT

Opposite cargo ramp
two Kallita 747F’s … N710CK + ?

Lunch time
Emirates sky cargo 747F arrived … N415MC
Martinair cargo 747 … 99% sure PH-MPP, did it have winglets?

2000
All white EL AL 747F … 4X-AXK

Good to hear you had fun. Not been to AMS myself yesterday. Instead decided to go to EIN and the Ikea. 😀
