Amy Johnson Stamp

Hi all,

I was talking to somebody at the weekend who said that the Royal Mail had recalled a lot of stamps because instead of having a picture of Amy Johnson they had a picture of Jean Batten.

Has anyone else heard this? There is a picture of a stamp in the latest Today’s Pilot (page 9) and it looks like Amy to me. But I suppose that might be a photo of the new issue stamp not the recalled one.

I was just wondering whether this was an urban myth in the making?
