Drove on base this morning, and saw this! VOlga-Dnepr uses An-124s on occasion to ferry parts from Boeing Wichita to Boeing Seattle. Since we share the same runway here, I got to see one of the Ruslans out on the ramp today. I saw one in Aeroflot markings at Farnborough 1988 with the MiG-29s, but had never seen one in actual service until today. Talk about a huge airplane; look at the KC-10 in the picture for comparison.
