How long ago was that? What company was it for? My dad has been on the airport for about 8 years, and then for several years in the late 80’s. Seems pathetic for them to move their business to Dublin, when EZY is their main contract and EZY have nothing to gain at Dublin at all.

Ok, I’ll ask him later. Well he did used to work for Aviance, which was originally Reed Aviation. Most recently he worked for FLS in the ‘Diamond Hangar’ at Stansted, but was unfortunately made redundant about 2 months ago when they decided to move business to Dublin. You know much about STN then?

Hey Wannabe
Ask your dad about the steering trucks on the rear and how you have to get them straight before release of the towbar…I assume he works at Stansted either Aviance or Servisrair 😀

Superb picture, note the special tow-bar to the left of the shot. Apparently these things are actually easier to tow (according to my dad after he towed the An-124)

I’ve seen that picture before, think it was in Piloot & Vliegtuig? A year ago!
