I recently saved a number of these from the scrap heap and was wondering if they are aircraft parts and if they are of use to anyone now.
Electro-pneumatic ram model FQ. Approximately 2 1/4″ diameter and 16″ overall length.
Some are in their original packing and have inspection dates between 1942 and 1945

Hi, suspect they might be Mosquito, with build date 42 onwards. Trying to contact Cohen by private message, I am in Melbourne.

Doesn’t Mark Pilkington of this forum own a Lincoln that is in Australia? Another possible interested party?

Sydney? RAAF? Possibly Lincoln then. One of you experts know if they used the same part?

Thank you for the quick replies.
It would be nice if the Lancaster was still “connected”.
I am at a loss as to what to do with them, would they be a useful item for anyone?
What country are you in?

Lincolnshire aviation heritage centre might find them useful, you can call them on 01790 763207. Alternatively the BBMF as previously mentioned, call RAF Conningsby on 01526 342581 and ask for them.

Ask Fluffy if he’d like them – the BBMF are the only UK operator and so your only market….
