Hi All,
I had a wander up to my local yesterday as Iโve only been there once specifically since getting back from tour! Hereโs a smallโฆ OK, large selection for the day! All taken with a Canon 30D and Sigma 50-500DG.

Love the shots Paul, my favourite has to be the 75 Grave yard shot and the Q400 angle, was confused at first as to where the rear gear was, but then worked it out lol. Also love the BMI Airbus lining up on the runway, nice and clear and crisp.
Thanks for sharing

I’m pretty sure judging by the times, it was the 644 returning in the other direction. If the dates in your sig are right, I will be dispatching the 644 tomorrow, the flight you are returning on.
Yep, I’ll be on that flight arriving from Aberdeen tomorrow ๐

Brilliant photos! What time did you take the FlyBE Dash – 8? If it was at lunchtime I was onboard flying up to Aberdeen. ๐

The British Midland Airbus, KLM Fokker and the Netjets Gulfstream are the pick of the bunch for me. ๐
I can’t believe that’s the same Gulfstream I saw in St Maarten just a few weeks ago!
Oh! Have you been to St Maarten, Sam?

Lovely shots Paul, That Graveyard shots is great…now that’s where I would like to end up (happy kind of a chap ain’t I). N441QS and the Metro almost head on are my favourites.
All the best

The last shot of the Jet2 757 is indeed a corker – looks so menacing at that angle. I like the ScotAirways shot also, I love the 328 props/jets.
Shots of the Dash 8 like that always perplex me, it just looks weird that they don’t have fuselage mounted main gear and it always seems as though the undercarriage hasn’t come down properly and its going to fall

The second shot is strange though – not one for those afraid of flying….lol. ๐
Well… Maybe! The Cemetery is a very popular spot here at LBA and strange though it may sound, to me at least there’s always a positive feeling about the place. I was sat in amongst the graves on the grass for probably two hours yesterday in the afternoon sunshine, camera at my side, and it was just very… Peaceful. Except, of course, for the occasional passing airliner!
Thanks for your kind words, people! ๐

Wow. top shots as always Paul!
I’m loving the close up shots – especially of that nice big bizjet. The second shot is strange though – not one for those afraid of flying….lol. ๐

Great stuff Paul!
The amount of biz jets and especially Netjets in LBA over the weekend has been phenomenol, I can’t recall ever seeing quite so many over such a short period of time.
I guess its all been down to the Bollywood awards in Sheffield, its been impossible to walk around Leeds without being mobbed by fans lately ๐
