Guys, I am making an attempt to track down what happened to Adrian (Saab 2000). He was a great contributor to the forum and i find it hard to believe he’ll just quit the whole internet like this. I am looking forward to your support on this thread as i have e-mailed the editor of AW hoping for some help.

I’d also like to see Adrian back on the forum. I always thought he was one of the more interesting and knowledgable members.
Wys might be able to give you a surname, as I believe they used to chat about their mutual Guernsey connection. If it helps, I seem to remember that he changed his name to Rockhopper shortly before leaving. Also might be worth trying through the unofficial Guernsey Airport Site. I’ll try to find the website address.

Yes he was from Guernsey. Hope he is OK, seems strange he just disappeared like that.
I started a thread along time ago about him – http://forum.airforces.info/showthread.php?t=23288 which just turned into a thread about how bad the forum was at the time. Lets hope this thread produces some answers 🙂

I used to speak to him quite often on msn. One day he changed his name to ‘Take my advice-Don’t trust me’ and then disappeared, never to come online again.

Adrian’s last posts were made on the 4th of Jan this year in both commercial and historic.

Didnt he post a week or so ago in the GD forum as i remember seeing Saab2000 and looked at date as i thought it would be an old post but wasnt it was brand spanking new. From what i can remember!

Great idea Kabir. Many people just assumed he left when the forum was going downhill, but he left before many of the major problems of early this year, and it would be very unlike him to just go without any word to anybody. I can imagine him not making a fuss, but to just vanish like that :
