If the old 2 watt braincell is still working correctly I recall a thread a while ago (possibly started in relation to the Stirling project) which discussed fuel gauges, including those used on Italian aeroplanes. I’ve spent some time searching but can’t trace it. Does anyone have any ideas?
We’re starting to strip the front fuselage of the Fiat shortly, so are interested to establish some details of the system used.
Many thanks,
G

It wasn’t something to do with Telelevel fuel gauges was it?
They were used on early Stirlings, Sunderlands and a range of 1930s types.
Not sure about an Italian connection though?

Pity it’s gone missing Phil – sounds like it might have been helpful…
