Have no hope of getting up the drome 😡 , at the moment the feet and ankle’s are swollen once again, leg’s stiff and hard to push to move, and the Sciatica is still causing great pain 🙁 .

When I get a chance I will go see how Mr Crabtree’s, project’s are going and get the goss on the growler’s about the place. 😉

Also must drop by Mr Bell’s fantastic little Geebee shop once more,
I usually stay for an hour or two, just shooting the breeze about all different thing’s that went down(no pun) at the drome over the year’s 😎 .

He’s a MAD Aeronut, and will talk ya leg off bout aeroplane’s, a real Aussie top bloke, he also told me he has many many picture’s, including the Ipec Argo’s cut to bit’s and spread everywhere for dispose 🙁 .

Shame that they went that way hey, I quiet often went in to Ipec way back then, and got to sit in the cockpit’s of the two Argo’s, and watch the servicing, Me lucky lucky lucky B@stard mate Paul got a trip over to Tass and back while doing work experince there on an Argo.

I did Stillwell Aviation instead(My mum was a Secu there), I got a freebuzz over Melbourne in A Merlin Biz jet(Small hot rod version of the Metro), MAN did that baby MOVE 😮 , tried for a Lear jet test flight too but missed that one bummer,
And I had almost legal access :rolleyes: to the graveyard outback of the hangar’s, durning 2 week’s of lunch break’s 😎 .
(Nearly fried me brain sitting in one of those Canberra’s, under the Canopy with the door shut, felt like NO air at all could get in 😮 (DOH know better now 😀 ) and was 40c+ outside and felt 100c inside)

When I stumbbled back a bit late after lunch :rolleyes: , the boss man look at me, ALL RED AND TOTTALLY SOAKED IN SWEAT DRIPPING OFF ME! 😮

And said of course ‘” you blooody dickhead Phil “. you have been in one of those Canberra’s on a hot stinking day haven’t you, WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THAT! 😡 then he told me of some kid’s who really did nearly kill themself’s doing the exact samething as me 😮 .

Well I was on a Viet bombing mission.
Well I had to first climb up the tail didn’t I, to take off those control lock thingo’s, climb back down(could’ve cooked egg’s on that tailplane damn hot 😮 ), did a good walk around of course, kicked a flat tyre, pulled some grass and bird’s nest out of the Avon’s, and got in the cockpit.

The Frosted over for year’s canopy was good 😎 , because no one outside could see you at the control’s and IN any of the 7/8 Bomber’s.

I did my mission for about 1/2 an hour, bombed the chink’s multly time’s and straffed em real good (could not stand any more heat), using the unlocked control’s made it real fun and almost real to me, damn hard working that rudder about a lot!

Anyway enough drome waffle, I still miss me old graveyard every time I go past the drome and look over to see it empty!!!! 🙁

Seems odd that the baggage door has been shown in primer when its on the other side of the fuselage. Is this one of the ex-Paraguay machines?
