An Unusual Question…

As some of you may know, I am a keen modelmaker.
Over the past year or so, I have been conducting a little “experiment”.
I have been saving the leftover sprues from my kits (23 built in the last year), and, quite frankly, I am alarmed by the amount of potentially reusable plastic that would go to landfill.

So, my question is: Are there any companies or organisations that will recycle/ reuse this material? I have done a Giggle search, but been unable to find anything.
