AN225 AND MIXTURE AT RAINY PIK 28 06 07

Was invited on a trip to Prestwick with Kevinwm and fred seggie to catch the Antonov 225, The weather was Good scottish weather ( Bucketing it down ). A big thanks go to kevin and fred for inviting me and showing me new spots.

Thanks for the info. So the home base of UR82060 is Gostom GML or Gostomel GOS not Borispol KBP? The home airport is called Antonov International or is owned by them?

Yep all ADB aircraft are based at Kiev Gostomel / GML / The factory 🙂

steve thanks for the comments much appreciated. Between thurs 27th june and sun the 30th of june i went spotting those 4 days and it was raining everytime i went mate.

It went out to Houston last week and earlier was reported as coming in from Memphis yesterday and now departed for the Ukraine…………

Great set of shots Rab, Liking the the VC-10 shot, very detailed and the rest of the 747’s. What a great day, probably the best i’ve had at PIK. Sadly won’t make the Virgin tomorrow, working all weekend !:(

Good photos, but third thread on the subject from yesterday, must be a determined lot at PIK!:) I could not find the arrival or departure of the An.225 on Flight tracker, so did it come from Houston and where did it depart to?:confused:
