I really enjoy the Condor scheme, as simple as it is. The yellow tail and the bold blue titles (not unlike those of LH), just look really classsy. What are the interim colors like?

Staying at the Beatriz playa which is right next to the airport! Requested the best room so should be able to take pics from my balcony 🙂 .
I’ll probably be down on that beach for most of Wednesday, my flight on Thursday is at about 1250 I think, pretty early when you consider what time I’ll have to leave the Hotel.

Keep a look out for someone with a green camera bag but I think we may just miss each other.

bugger thats a shame – i’d have liked to have met up with you for an hour or so – i went last year and went down early morning for an hour or so, but with thurs been the first morning it mite be differnat – what time u fly home, and where are you staying?

There are still one or two left I think, and some are in a horrible “Interim” fit type of a livery. JMC tailfin, and engines, but a horrible rusty coloured shell. Looks horrible!

Be sad to see them go, all thses charters having the same cs is making it a little less interesting when you go abroad!

Have all the JMC aircraft been painted? I think theres a few Condor around and certainly a few in an interim scheme. Hope to see a few of both in Lanzarote later in the week, may be the last chance!

i suspect this is true as Condor was the wholley owned subsidery of LH at one point – so i think it prob will!

I think I read in an internal LH magazine that LH had bought part of Thomas Cook.

Can anybody confirm or deny this?

same priciple as Britannia/Hapag TUI think i think they remain fairly independant as far as AOCs and operating licences are concerned – also don’t forget the Belgium branch of TC

The same Thomas Cook that JMC is being merged into, also took over Condor, right? If so, will this new brand name be UK based, Germany based, or both?

I don’t think it’s that bad but the Lime green thing was great !!

Yeah, I watched a Thomas Cook 757 land today and thought how uninspired the livery looked.:(

JMC especially will be missed. It will be sad not to see the beautiful green in the skies!
