Angled vs straight flight deck aesthetics

Functionality aside,

what are your thoughts on the aesthetics of a ship with an angled flight deck vs one that is straight (or mostly straight) through.

examples Angled

i’ll argue the QEC is mostly straight since both sides are mostly proportional

When it comes to the aesthetics of the ship, (and few things have such potential for elegance as a warship of any era) I think you need to ask sailors rather than aviators.
