Anna Walker on BBC Radio 4..

…on Wed 9th October, guesting as one of five personalities on the Mid-Week programme. Ms Walker has a very interesting life story to tell.

Good to hear that but Libby Purves is a hopeless interviewer so that doesn’t surprise me!

Anna Walker was delightful, with a fascinating aviation pedigree, but Libby Purves managed to get the words “aeroplane” and “plummet” into the interview within a short space of time. Gawd ‘elp us!

A great admirer of her and her flying, but not the programme so I hope it was worthwhile, for her.

I have had to Google her name, but I knew it rang a bell. Lets hope the Seafire belly landing isn’t something they concentrate on.

But on the subject of the Seafire landing I did find a photo album of the landing and recovery I haven’t seen before (good job I’m not doing the interview):highly_amused:
