Great shots, I am very envious of the fact you have such great airshows in the UK, something i miss living in the states now.

That Spit formation shot is a cracker.
Excellent pics, Anna. That second Spitfire formation shot is a particular favourite.
Don’t recall ever seeing such a large formation of two-seaters before now:
MJ627, ML407, PV202 and SM520.
That last Spitfire formation shot is absolutely outstanding!
No cropped and close in action, just a beautifully caught and lit moment – possibly picture of the season for me!
agreed !- it reminded me of the scene in The Battle Of Britain when the big wings are forming up, radio chatter about Hurricanes joining to starboard “do you see that, bl**dy marvelous” – which sums up the piccie as well – bl**dy marvelous Anna.

I was at Duxford on the Saturday , superb weather. Thank you to you and all the other contributors of excellent photographs of the day. For those of us who do not have all the necessary camera equipment it is so kind of you to share your work. I have a bad knee which hindered me walking around so I parked myself near the parked Lancaster to watch the flying.
It is always a pleasure, and thanks for your kind comments.
