The angle of that Hunter take-off is fantastic!:D Very few aircraft look good and right from every angle but Sir Sydney got it right every time and the Hunter remains supreme!!
That he did .:)

Almost a black and white shot there Anna.
Wonder what it would look like in a nice grainy sepia shot.
🙂
Not tried that yet! might give it a shot.

Superb shots. The black Hunter on dark gray skies looks quite dramatic but the Gnat is my favorite here… a small jet that always thought it was much larger… such a great personality. Pure eye candy.
Thanks Anna.

I certainly cannot recall any aerobatic team in camo!!

Purely my opinion old chap.
Exactly, I couldn’t agree more.
And with that lead in I have to say I love it…….and that’s purely my opinion!!!
If I were a betting man, i’d lay money on it, (and no i’m not loaded), that for most people, seeing an amazing formation like that, if you could put eye spot monitors on what people are actually looking at, with the striking scheme that Miss D is in, I am sure the bulk of peoples focus will be on Miss D.
It is a matter of fact that peoples attention will always be drawn to striking things, they just cannot help it, it’s part of human nature.
Great pictures by the way!!

Exactly SH
How many people wouldnt bother so much about these machines if they had to be in military or exact schemes. Well maybe not but each to their own.
G Bird yes you are entitled to your opinion as am I.
Not having a go but its up to the owner so until we hear the owners say what scheme should I paint my aircraft it is indeed up to them.
🙂

Great photos Anna.
Best photos I have ever seen on here.
G Bird and others it quite simple you dont own Miss D so quite complaining about her scheme. I have no desire to see any more drab grey or camo hunters out there. Or indeed any other colours.
Tell you what when you have the money and you own Miss D you can put her in any scheme you want.
I believe this is possibly the best scheme I have ever seen on a Hunter. This one even beats the Swiss Hunter.
Anyway do we really need to argue what best and whats that. This is the scheme she is in so lets just live with it.
Better off in the air in this scheme than not in the air at all.
Purely my opinion old chap.

“Better off in the air in this scheme than not in the air at all.”
Exactly – I happen to like it a lot but if it’s in the air I don’t care that much how it is painted. Just wish I could have got to Kemble to see so many of those beautiful machines!! Camo, blue, grey, red, yellow, silver – who cares??:)
