Another 747F bites the dust

Sent to me by a friend who I think was on board.

Sharjah Airport on 7th Nov. High speed abort, a/c overran and impacted
dunes at the far end.

So true, so true. Every word of it. Rumour has it that the top suits are not in the best of moods 😮

Would you be if in one fell swoop you:

Have Lost a perfectly servicable aircraft
Have probably lost or have damaged cargo on said aircraft
Probably facing a fine for not delivering said cargo
Will be facing huge bills for use of emergency services, moving the hulk and storing it. Then perhaps paying someone to scrap it.
Not to mention injuriy claims from the crew

Oh, thats gonna give the suits a headache!

So many $$$$ about to fly out the window (Pun intended)

Thank goodness there were no casualties, however that’ll do nothing to placate the suits anger

Yes, Airline Owner. You’re quite right.

It was TF-ARR (c/n 23621) at Sharjah on Nov 7th.

The aircraft, operating a cargo flight on behalf on Lufthansa, blew several tyres on a take-run, aborted the take-off but ran off the runway. The fuselage broke up, but happily the crew were ok.

erm……..thats whats pictures above  Atlanta Cargo’s first 747 crash I beleive
