Frankvw knows the french for idenity card, I suggest he comes for a holiday with us in the Channel islands.

Flood, old people driving highly polished 10 year old cars I can cope with, old people taking there Subaru or Volvo T70 out at 40mph I can’t.

Depends, do they shoot Belgians on sight too ? (Remember I originally speak french 😀 ) Note that I’m in for the French hunt, but I’m peaceful, so, I don’t want to harm them. 😉

And I agree regarding the drivers problem!

It’s young people who drive Mini’s thinking they can beat everything else on the road at 80 mph that I don’t like. 😀

This is the Channel Islands we are talking about – they would all get bored and sneak off to procreate with thier own siblings…;)

Are the Channel Islands twinned with Wisbech then?

But that would entail checking all the cards before you could do anything. This is the Channel Islands we are talking about – they would all get bored and sneak off to procreate with thier own siblings…;)

But what about those who know and understand when you yell out bonjour in French?
Maybe you should yell out something like: “Please raise your hand if you are French and wouldn’t mind taking part in a little survey”?
Personally I believe there are worse people than the French around; old people driving highly polished ten year old cars whilst wearing driving gloves for a start.

Oh this is the same as knocking over gingers isn’t it. We just get someone to shout hello in French, if they reply then break out the fire.

Trouble is how do we check their nationality before hand without alerting them to the dangers of being on the beach at that time.?

At the moment just the railway kind, but if we run out of those we will have to broaden our horizons.

I mentioned it to someone at the weekend that there is still a law in place here in Jersey that allows you to shoot Frenchmen on the beach early in the morning. Hand87 5 has been warned.

What do all the anorak spotters do if there aren’t any trains? The probably amuse themselves by stealing dustcaps.

We hunt them with hounds here in the Channel Islands.
