Hi All,
Another beautifully bright and sunny day today meant only one thing (well… Two things if you include sunburn). A trip to LBA! It was interesting to see G-CELI on the wrong side of the Pennines, also the aircraft in the final shot certainly isn’t a common sight around these parts. Enjoy!

Tom… Thanks for driving again!

Thanks for your comments guys!
That Astraeus! just wow Paul 😀
What settings were you using with the sunset etc?
I just used aperture priority at around f8 for the jets, and shutter priority for the props at around 1/200th. I tend to leave the ISO at 200 just to get the shutter speed up a little on aperture priority and keep things nice and sharp (or at least attempt to). It seems to work for me. Thanks for your comments Tom!

Brilliant shots as I said today! The Astraeus HAS to be my fave, the lighting is just perfect.
On a Jet2/LBA related note, me and Paul were at MAN today, G-CELC is the aircraft that has been renamed Jet2 Jo Whiley if anyone is interested. 🙂
