Very nice show, even if it was a bit cool 😀
Good to see the RNHF back on the circuit, seems a long time since I’ve watched a Navy Sea Fury displaying. A few navy type photos to start things off….

Spent most of Sunday trying to avoid getting fire engines, cars and spam cans in the background of the photos, but they always manage to sneak in somewhere!! 😀
Looks like its been there some time PDS, the passenger door is missing too! Don’t know if its really that close to the runway or if its just the compression effect of the long lens. Anyone remember the ‘illegally parked car routine’ they used to do at Yeovilton? Perhaps that will be its ultimate fate!

It’s JDK’s abandoned MGB. The folks at Shuttleworth have dumped it.

Great pictures as usual BUT…..I am intrigued.
In the 11th picture, the seafury landing picture.
What is the red car diong in the background?
It looks as if it broken down.
Just pulled off the M11 because his engine was mis-firing? Does it belong to the people in the background by the trees?
OR
A little old lady who has run out of petrol? And is standing at the end of the runway trying to thumb a lift?
OR
A dumped get-away car and they are tring to hot wire a plane?
What do you think?

Not me, as I said before I was re-laying turf yesterday. I’m too poor to be able to afford to go to Duxford these days…

Moggy’s our resident Colt driver, but it wasn’t his one. Unless he’s painted ‘ARNE blue! 😀
Fab shots Gareth, love that Sabre / Sea Hawk / T33 formation. Got to be one of my ‘memorable moments of 2004’, that. 🙂

Oh no that all must have been terribly noisy…. What must the neighbours have thought. I’ll stick to turf laying in Norfolk at the weekends I think, plus it’s a good way of keeping warm!!!!
Thanks for sharing the pics though. Very nice
