Well we are making progres. If enough people agree it’s a good idea it may well happen. More chance of public opinion being listened to here than in government that’s for sure. I’m convinced government, whether national or local, makes the decision and then holds the public cinsultation afterwards with as little warning as possible so that few people attend. That way they can say that the public consultation drew very little adverse comment.

I saw this this morning and was going to post but remembered that you almost always do so. It made me think that there might be a place here for an obituary thread, so that all these fine men and women will be gathered together in one place on the forum.

Obituary thread would be an excellent idea. An almost shrine to these heroes and heroines. I third this idea
