Another garage find to i.d. please…

Just starting to think about loading the trailer up with some of the weekend’s goodies when I came across this rather forlorn but very heavy lump.

The Stores tag tells me the upper bit is a 5U/519, which means little to me. The plate bearing all the details has worn down so much that there is little to make out on it.

I’m thinking late 40s/early 50s jet but could be well off the mark.

Is it worth heaving it on the trailer?
