…..one of these days you are going to leave footprints in that car park surface…..
LOL….. Actually, I’ve found a cracking and readily accessible spot for landing shots when 24L/24R are in use.
Give me a shout next time you’re up this way and I’ll send you a map and directions. 🙂

Nice shot Lance – you know one of these days you are going to leave footprints in that car park surface – there should be a plaque put up saying “Lance’s Spot”!

Thanks very much for the kind comments, chaps.
That’s the last lot of pictures from me before Christmas, and probably my last batch for 2005. So thanks again for all your feedback and encouragement over the last 12 months. 🙂

Some brilliant shots Lance, especially the US Airways – possibly the best looking A330 around! 😀

Was the Thomsonfly 737 a COV diversion?
No, Kev. It arrived as BY510B and operated an outbound flight later this afternoon.
We’ve had a smattering of Thomsonfly 737s at MAN over the past couple of weeks, in fact.

Was the Thomsonfly 737 a COV diversion? If so, it was as a result of a Shorts 360 bursting a tyre on landing and blocking the runway for some time. All being well I shall have more on my adventures at COV this afternoon and tomorrow lunchtime later on tomorrow.
Regards,
