This morning with John Hurrell and Chelvin Hibbert on board, XL573 G-BVGH Hunter T7 took to the skies after many years on the ground with no certain future until Mark Stott the new owner purchased her at the start of the year. It has undergone many hours of work by the team at Hunter Flying and it showed the dedication of the team when the aircraft returned from it test flight serviceable. The aircraft is destined to fly through the winter months so that next year we hope that she will be a regular participator on the circuit.

Great to hear it will be back on the circuit.
I remember seeing it for the first time at Yeovilton in 1995 with GA.11 G-GAII as part of the Lightning Flying Club/Classic Jet Aircraft Company duo.
Definitely hard to believe it’s been around for nearly 18 years under private ownership!
Well done to all involved down at Exeter bringing her back to life after its absence.
