Also spent 2 weeks in Lanzarote from 20/07-03/08. Booked with Iberia and flew GB A320 LGW to Seville and then Air Nostrum CRJ200 to Arrecife. Fantastic flight. Return was to LHR via Madrid both with Iberia on A321’s.
First time posting on here. Camera packed up during the holiday, wouldn’t allow me to zoom in or out, so pictures aren’t the best.
Great place for spotting. Kids can play on the beach while you watch the aircraft. Managed along 2-3 times a day.

Sorry for the poor quality shot – it is a still from my video camera.
Can anyone identify the Airline. It is landing at Arrecife and believe is a F100.

Love the summer feel they have, wish there was a bit more of it in the UK right now… :diablo:

Saw the Tristar landing past the villa window so managed to get along for its departure. Unfortunately missed getting a picture of the XL B743 and the AEA A330. Cant win them all. 😎
You can walk from Matagorda along the promenade that they have build which takes you right under the final approach.

Nice shots there! 😀

Yes it is a great place for taking pictures. Hadn’t realised i had taken over 120 pictures until i downloaded them when I got home.
The MD-80 does say operated by someone on the front but I can’t read it.

Great photos, i got to visit there :p
The MD-80 belongs to Mapjet i have heard, can anyone confirm that?

Thanks for the coments. Think the BMI was a charter from NEMA. Not sure about the MD – it was Austrian registered if that helps.
The flights with IB worked out a lot cheaper than going direct on a charter with the added bonus of the flight in the CRJ. I believe GB are stopping the LGW-SVQ flight so this option probably won’t be available next time.
Final selection:

Nice shots and an interesting set of flights you took. I’m guessing the bmi A320 is a weekly charter or something?
