More importantly, where did you take these shots from?

1st one will be on the road from Donington to EMA as you come out of the undercut for the runway there is a layby on the left before the 90 degree bend at the racetrack, it will be from the other side of the hedge there. others I would say either from the end of the road near the nags head in Donno or from the airport road entering near juntion 32A and going past the hotels. Saudi one will be behind the cafe on Vanguard road, down the side of the BMI hangar on the pile of soil there.

What airline does the white A310 belong to in the first pic?

Keep the yellow cast, I like it, not quite as accurate perhaps but the Saudi shot in particular has a bit more character to it than the TNT pic.

Out of interest, what shutter and ISO speed are you using here?

Thank you VeeOne, The tnt was taken in the correct white balance, other other two arnt hence the yellow cast. Still learning with the night shots but as they say, practice makes perfect :p

Thank you Joemicroman 😀

Thanks ThreeSpool, the ATP does look abit small compare to the others, they was a Piper parked to the right of it too out of frame, so it wasn’t the only smallest plane on the ramp :diablo:

No problem Culpano, still haven’t shot a DHL 763, they don’t come in on a Friday night as the ABX 763 does the flight 😡 Thursday nights will be your best bet to go, Aerologic and TNT 777’s in, the first time ive seen a 777F and they are pritty impressive to see 😀

Thank you Culpano, the UPS doesn’t park on the DHL ramp, it goes down to the eastern ramp where i shot the TNT 777, when i was shooting the Saudi the UPS departed to Cologne 😡 The TNT is in every night doing the old A300 flights, Belfast – EMA arrives at 9.30pm and departs to Liege at 11.30pm, It stops in September to be replaced with something else, no idea what though 😎

Danny

Cheers for the info. We started to drive down from Manchester last week to get a photo of a UPS 767 and two DHL 767s which were due but we got stuck on M6 so gave up 😡

Will keep an eye out for that TNT B777 on Flightradar and hope it gets in early one night !

May get it in Miami or LAX in October 🙂

Very nice, the BAE ATP looks a little outcast in the crowd of bigger aircraft. What is not to love about the B777 freighter?

Interesting night photos. I rather like nighttime photographs.

You know it is very easy to change the colour balance to ‘normal’ daytime colours where white appears as white. 🙂

Great shots. That cargo ramp is so busy. No UPS ??? Is the TNT B777 a regular ? I know it’s only recently been delivered.
