Another SHAR for preservation

Noted leaving Yeovilton yesterday aboard two lorries was dismantled SHAR F/A2 ZA176. It is reportedly bound for the Newark Air Museum, Nottingham.
She has no kills to her credit from the Falklands conflict, but can boast a successful emergency landing on a Spanish freighter in June 1983 instead!

Thanks to Bob Turner and Howard Curtis for the info.

Great news!! At least some will be saved. I was afraid of them vanishing without anybody noticing. Newark is an excelent home for retired aeroplanes!!

What happened to all the old FRS1 noses? It would be nice to refit one as the FRS1 was a much prettier aeroplane than the FA2.
