I don’t know if it has been noted here, but it seems the Choccy Spit has disappeared from the TFC hanagar.
I seem to remember it being brought by an American, so is this where it is off to?
Seems a shame as I really loved this aircraft but I guess we have enough it will be a nice addition wherever it goes.

You see I just don’t read the right places. Well a trip over to the airfield this weekend I think to catch up on whats going on as the other half is working.

I think she’s owned by Tom Friedkin but was operated by TFC for the past couple of years, since she came back from France.
Just checked the FlyVintage website:
The Fighter Collection has announced that Spitfire MkXIV SM832 will soon be in Texas. The Spitfire has been looked after for Tom Friedkin while the aircraft has been based in the UK. It’s now due to arrived in Texas in early March.
