Another V Bomber question

Hoping this thread will start another wealth of info that is to be found on here…….As I understand it, The V Force aircraft were, in times of tension and trouble, were dispersed to various locations across the UK, In the times of Blue Steel, would the aircraft be carrying the missile on the dispersal flight or would it have been loaded at the dispersal point?
I imagine the same question applies to the original freefall weapons that the force was originally kitted out with 😉
