Ansons in America

Can anyone give any details on the Anson C.19’s that headed across the pond in the late 60’s early seventies when the RAF retired them.
I have tracked one down in Texas and am curious to know why people would buy them instead of just using homegrown products like the Beech 18/AT.11.

Quite – having helped bling the OW one (OK I know its a XIX)- boy oh boy is the Anson a complicated Beastie compared to the Beech, lighter, roomier fuselage I grant you but that undercarriage setup is unbelievable!)
