Antwerp activity

Antwerp is an airport with a runway to handle up to ARJ’s and even a 737 with a light weight. Once i saw the first and the last time a DHL 752F visited the airport (75 years Deurne airclub). About a week ago, Bill Clinton (!) landed at this airport for a speech about the Diamantwijk (a part in the city with only diamond “shops”) in the city (why did he came specifically?).
20 (?) years ago, sabena flew the ANR-LHR route with a Boeing 737-200 two times a day on weekdays. Now VLM (What does this stand for? Vlaamse LuchtvaartMaatschappij?) is the carrier which uses the airport to London city, Rotterdam, Manchester (that’s officially, in fact you go via LCY) and Jersey. Now the operate also from Brussels (LCY in partnership with Virgin Express) and Rotterdam to Hamburg (?) Milan, Lcy and maybe others? Now VLM is considering the ERJ 170-175-190-195. Is that aircraft able to use Anr’s runway or are they gonna use it at brussels if they buy it?
Now there is also a company which operates flights to some destinations around europe. It operates under the flight code FYG. What aircraft do they use and whats the name of this “airline”?
KLM left Antwerp about a year ago, and since then Antwerp calmed down. Now the runway will be extended (FINALLY!) for new safety reasons/laws in the EU. I think work will start in a year, and afther the runway is lengthened, the airport will be capable of handling airplanes up to fully loaded 737’s/a320’s.
Maybe SNBA has a future here as well? Probably not.
Because there are probably very little people from belgium using the forum, please also just post a reaction??

Sorry for bad English, if you dont understand me just ask.
