Apparently since the opening of Madrid Barajas new Terminal 4, there has been a high increase in baggage loss especially through connecting flights.
Last year I flew LGW-MAD-EZE and my baggage was left in Barajas and made it to Argentina 5 days later. Same story on the return trip, though I must say British Airways has such better customer service than Iberia, it was a nightmare trying to locate my bags with Iberia. On my flight ALL the connecting pax from FRA/BRU/LHR/AMS etc had their bags missing, accounting for around 30% of the flight.
My worry is that i will be flying AMS-MAD-EZE on Iberia this summer with a connection time of around 1 hour. Im worried the story of last year will repeat itself! 😮
Has anyone else had bad baggage experience whilts connecting with Iberia or any other airline, and do you have any advice?
Also I will be travelling on an A340-600, anyone know which row is the best in terms of window view/legroom?? 😉
Thank you so much, much appreciated 😀
