Hi, we’re off for holiday in the Dordogne shortly. Does anyone know of any aviation museums or collections down that area?
Thanks

There is a very good airshow (festival aereine) on 7th / 8th September, at the small airfield at the city of St Junien, mid way twixt Angouleme & Limoges. Some very rare types visit this show, and it is totally free for everyone. Visiting historic light aircraft will also receive a free tank of fuel, free accomodation and food! Recommended…………

Hi,
Open november 2012, a small museum about propellers and Ratier in Figeac (Lot, France) :

Website: http://www.ratier.org and http://ratier.org/musee/musee_.html
Show some wooden propellers from 1910 to 1930 (different trademarks), metallic Ratier variable pitch props from 1930 to 1950 and Hamilton/Ratier props in production for ATR (carbon fiber props for high power engines).
Regards,
