I wonder just how many people without a TV License have been found out by the “Commer Vans with spinning Roof-Racks” ?
I think all detection is done by the TV License database. When it shows someone does not have a TV License someone is sent to find out if they have a TV and if they do then the person in question ends up with a fine.

Topgear finished?
I only watch Countryfile, Top Gear, (which is funded privately and sold to the BBC) and Midlands Today.
Did you hear that their might not be any more topgear!?

Whatever happened to all the Commer Vans with spinning Roof-Racks? Is all the detection done by t’internet these days?

I must admit i begrudge paying for the license as i very rarely watch TV, maybe an hour a week at most if i bother at all, and never the BBC, the MRS watches about two to three hours a week and if it wans’t for her i would get rid of it and not have to pay the fee’ any films i have on dvd i could watch on the computer. to be honest i prefer to read. (boring git ain’t i :p )

Nice ones:D 😀
We only seem to have cbeebies on these days they only have ten or so programs and repeat these four times a day.
Btw the BBC must have the biggest revenue of all the terrestrial TV channels ,so how come they take the least risks in TV programming?

probably 10% of my TV viewing is spent on the BBC. how come I don’t have to pay just 10% of the license fee?
I only watch Countryfile, Top Gear, (which is funded privately and sold to the BBC) and Midlands Today. Hardly worth the unique way in which the BBC is funded.
I really am a Grumpy Old Git today…. sorry.
