About half an hour ago I was out in the car park at work (in Kensworth, Beds.) and saw what appeared to be two slow moving aircraft to the south, heading east. Initially I thought it was an aerotow from Dunstable Downs, but the second aircraft seemed a fair bit lower than the lead, and they both seemed to have the same long, thin profile, whereas a Robin or Cub would look stubbier than most gliders that they’d be towing. They were a fair distance away and my eyesight isn’t great so they could have been anything really. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Oz

Thanks Bograt. I did think they seemed motor gliderish, but I’d ruled out RAF ones due to the distance from Henlow. What I’d forgotten about, and somehow your post has reminded me of, is Halton which is very much in the direction they came from. The distance they were away from me means they were probably still pretty close to Halton. How did I manage to forget Halton? Brain not functioning properly today methinks.
