Any JP fan's? – help needed to identify 2 aircraft

These 2 photo’s were taken at Cosford in 1990. The trouble is I lost my notes, and I need to try and identify both aircraft by tail number.

Photo one is of 807?M, Possibly 8078M or 8079M which would make it XM351 or XN492, does anyone know for sure?

Photo two has even fewer clues – from the markings it looks as if it was Fleet 99 of 7FTS Church Fenton before it arrived at Cosford – does anyone know it’s true identity?

Keith , I don’t suppose you have any photos of the VC10’s in the background , still in BA colours ??

The bottom aircraft is T.3A XN640 ex 7FTS coded ’99’ with the M number of 9016M. The top aircraft I am pretty sure is XN492 . I used to own the cockpit of this machine. She went to Odiham for cutting practice before ending up at Stock. I acquired her from there.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-01-03 AT 08:57 PM (GMT)]I belive the top photo is indeed 8079M/XN492, as 8078M/XM351 is displayed in the cosford museum still wearing the tail code ‘y’

As for the second photo, W&R 14 lists XN640/9016M Jet Provost T.3A
7 FTS, RAFC, 3FTS, CFS, 6FTS, Tail Code ’99’

Hope this helps
