Pretty amazing. I wonder why the plane went into a spiral though? 4000 feet is quite high so you should be able to establish a glide towards a forced landing field. BTW any landing after which you can reuse the airplane is a greaser!

The ballistic chute must rate as one of the most important `life saving` devices next to the ejector seat.

the ballistic chute would most likely of been the only option in that area as it is very rough terrain , nice slow descent , bet they are glad they had one

4 souls safe, that is the main thing, the only thing really.
If you have a ballistic chute, an engine failure seems a pretty good time to use it.
There is a statistic somewhere about the percentage of forced landings which end very badly, and it is not especially reassuring.
